Autumn Fall Family Photos

Daddio

Today I went for lunch at my parents after going to play group with my youngest two kids. My mom mentioned to me my dad needed a photo for an article that was going to be published in a local paper about him running for council again. Happy to be able to help I went and took some photos for him. He requested a photo in front of the barn, after we got that one we did some in front of the corn. I like both but prefer the corn ones. He choose the barn one for the photo though because he had done a corn photo in the past. Which do you prefer?

I took a couple photos for my sister of her and her daughter a few weeks back. We got some cute ones. Audrey's not a huge fan of the camera but she tolerated me. :)

Prom Photos - Vanessa and Sara

I recently took some prom photos for sisters of a middle school friend of mine. It was so nice to reconnect with her family, and so nice to see her sisters all grown up! Sometimes while you are growing up and changing you forget that others do as well. The sisters go to different schools so I went to see them twice and they each got their own special day.

Family & Baby Photography

Back in November, my sister turned 30. For her present I said I would take some lifestyle family photos for her. Well, I certainly had a challenge before me today! She was perfect, of course and so was Summer (who I took 7 month photos for on Tuesday of this week as well) but Casey gave me quite the challenge! I guess it's bad that he knows me so well and loves me so much, because all he wanted to do was sit beside me and not with the family. We managed to get some really cute ones though and so here is her sneak peek!

Headshots: Erica

The other day my sister, Erica came to babysit Braeden while I brought my girls to gymnastics and in exchange I took some new headshots for her. I'd never taken any headshots before but I really like how nice and natural these turned out.

My "baby" boy

Braeden is 10 months old and is such an adorable little guy. He also has a really fast crawl, either away from the camera or straight towards me and ending up WAY too close. While I love capturing these photos monthly (I do take many in between as well), it's also a challenge! A challenge I happily take, to preserve memories as he grows up way too quickly.

My mom is an amazing seamstress. She recently made this dress when she was asked to sample a pattern and she made one in Hailey's size so Hail could try it on after and model it for us. Here are some of the cute photos I got.
